I have been to sano many times. I always know that I will get tasty, healthy food. I usually get the egg and sausage bowl for breakfast and the salmon and potato dish. They are always friendly and everything is nice inside the restaurant. They also have a student discount, which is awesome!

5 stars all around for this hidden gem of both culinary art and nutritional science. Where else can you get a bowl of soup of true restaurant quality for £2.50 near Chancery Lane or Farringdon? This is, without doubt, a hidden gem on the map of positive health and advanced nutrition of the City of London. Geographical borders put in Camden, yes, I know. I have been a regular visitor since I started working in Records Hall around the corner because a coffee + breakfast deal is simply the best in the hood both on price and what you get for it. It is £2.99 for a coffee and scrambled eggs, there are other varieties of a breakfast meal, I am only interested in scrambled eggs. May be one day I will graduate to porridge. What you have as an add on, is a smiley team and after a little while you realize that a fair bit of intelligence went into the design of the place. Talking about me, I have fear of queues, if there is a queue I will run away. I have to say that many lunch fanatics in Leather Lane love queues and line up in somewhat longish waiting time for their favourite tucker outside of lively pop ups. It’s not me.Many food places in Chancery Lane neibourhood would be very boxy in shape, often an elongated rectangular or a right angled square. All good. For the landlords. The rent is ticking away regardless of the shape of your real estate. A little less so if you are a punter. For someone who runs food retail business there is not much you can do with a boxy shape. Tills will have be close to the entrance/exit, few seating places crammed at the back and no waiting area for take outs, you are in the way of traffic, plus now we have wonderful Uber Eats and their competition. This problem has been beautifully solved in Sano, there was more potential to arrive to this solution, that is true. Google Maps photos will give you a good idea of what to expect. There is plenty of room to sit down, to include two very interesting armchairs. Good size area for waiting and a convenient height breakfast bar area, which is my favorite.I tried my first lunch meal now, which was falafel, baked in Sano style. Totally five stars all around!!!Thank you!

Absolutely love this place. Amazing food, friendly staff and great to know its healthy too. Their nutrition experts are also on hand to answer your questions. Had deliveries a few times too and the whole office loves the food. Even though I eat here a lot I never get bored as there are always monthly specials.

I have worked in this area for 10 years, and have seen many food outlets come and go. For a self-confessed foodie, many of them are rather disappointing, offering the same boring choices of salads, wraps or jacket potatoes, all of which leave you reaching for snacks before making it home for dinner. But Sano is different. They are offering really tasty meals inspired by a range of flavour inspirations from Italy, to the far east. They are good value for money and most importantly for me they are filling & satisfying (my personal favourite are the turkey meatballs served in a really tasty tomato sauce with crunchy greens and new potatoes!) Eating-in at Sano is also a joy; more like a restaurant dining experience than the soulless feel of many other places. I like to come here to get a proper break away from my desk; it is definitely my new favourite lunch place, and I can leave smug in the knowledge that I have fueled my body with an excellent nutritious meal.

I went here with a few colleagues and the food was very tasty and healthy. We all noted that the portion sizes were quite small and that we would be feeling hungry again relatively soon. I would really recommend introducing portion size options like many of your competitors in the area (a large for £7.50 for example!)

Lovely food and environment to go and sit for lunch. Tea cup sizes are very small. They do refill with hot water but sometimes you just want a big mug of tea. Delicious ginger and lemongrass curry that reminded me of Vietnam. Will definitely go back and grab one of the comfy sofas and take my kindle along.
